So pretty, but!

These are absolutely beautiful, and made well. I just wish I had noticed and or gotten the chance to see each picture for each letter before buying.
A is for Anchor or Award. Neither word which says the A sound that we teach as in Apple or Alligator. E is for Eagle or Earth, neither word that says E the way we teach as in Egg or Elevator.
Even the choice for Y is an interesting choice, it shows an egg but it’s Y for yolk. My 3 & 5 year old have already been confused by the choices for these letters.

I guess they will just be displayed as more of a visual for the letter and not for the word/picture. 😕

Again, they are so pretty and well made.
